It’s been really exciting making the design and getting feedback on it. Working to an industry standard, which as a student you don’t get much experience of, so it’s been great. I couldn’t have asked for more.”
Paige’s winning designs will be printed on 8.5 million bottles spanning two of Kopparberg’s most popular flavoured cider variants, ‘Strawberry and Lime’ and ‘Mixed Fruit’. These will hit supermarket shelves and be available in pubs, bars, and restaurants UK-wide over the summer.
The competition was open to students from across Ravensbourne University London’s specialist courses, including BA (Hons) Advertising and Brand Design, BA (Hons) Graphic Design, BA (Hons) Illustration for Communication.

At Kopparberg, we believe in firsts that last. The limited-edition competition allows us to offer students the opportunity to work on their first live brief and secure a prize that can shape their future. We hope that this, alongside the internship and bursary, will really kick start Paige's career in the creative industry.”
Fans of the hugely popular Swedish cider may recall the previous winning designs, Ben McKay’s 2022 neon street art-inspired bottles and last year’s monster-themed designs by Paulina Grönlund.
Paige’s latest designs utilised bright colours and geometric shapes. Judges on Kopparberg’s creative team were immediately impressed with how Paige’s design incorporated the energy and dynamism of music and enjoying the summer.
Paige was presented with her designs printed on the bottles at a celebration event held at Ravensbourne, based in London’s Design District in North Greenwich, on Thursday 25 April 2024 competition.
