Students' Union

Each of our course clusters has a dedicated student liaison officer to give you careers advice and information about events and opportunities in your area of study.

We also offer learning support and development with study skills, specialist tutoring and mentoring to keep you motivated and on-track.

We aim to ensure that disability and learning difficulties are not barriers to the selection of students, keeping any discussions entirely separate from the academic decision of the offer of a place.

And our Student Services team is also there to provide a listening ear and point you in the right direction for counselling if you're having personal issues.

We’re a society for anyone interested in films and film discussion. On a twice monthly basis we get together to watch movies and talk about them, often over snacks and drinks. We also place a big emphasis on showing each other’s work, creating an atmosphere of critique and collaboration. Furthermore, we like to take the society off-campus, going out into London for film trips and food nights. Whether you’re a casual filmgoer or a hardcore cineaste, this is the society for you!

We are a group of students with different footballing abilities who meet every week to have fun kick around, to meet new people and have a laugh. There is also an opportunity to join Ravensbourne Athletic Football club (RAFC). The official 11 aside team of the university where we play in a Sunday league division. So, if you love playing football come along this is the society for you.

The Ravensbourne Politics Society is here to help you learn about the important issues of our time, directly from world-leading politicians, diplomats and the activists who shape them, while also creating the opportunity for you to participate in student debates.

The Ravensbourne Language Society is for students who are either bilingual/cultural or who would like to learn about different languages and cultures from their fellow students. We host activities such as games nights, movie nights, and other social learning activities. The society is open for anyone who would like to expand their knowledge on different cultures, and for those who would like to teach their languages and cultures to others.

We exist to provide a hub for students of African and Caribbean origin or descent to come together and contribute their skills, share ideas, knowledge, cultures and build our future together.

RCC is a makers club focusing on DIY and making projects. The club is aiming to release creativity and brings together Ravensbourne's makers. Previous experience is not required and you can bring your own ideas in.

This is a society for those that identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, or anyone that supports the community, to come along and enjoy interacting with like-minded people. We intend to do activities related to the community and act as a support group.

As the Ravensbourne Islamic Society we strive to build a strong community of Muslims who can represent the values of Islam on campus. We aim to provide: a great sense of kinship, a comfortable place to practice, regular activities to engage with our members and all the while encouraging the practice of our religion, Islam.

A network of student volunteers, that strives to get Ravensbourne students actively involved in volunteering projects for the betterment of our community. People volunteer for all sorts of different reasons: a desire to gain broader experience, learn new skills, develop existing skills, make a difference in the community, or have fun. We are looking for both students who have never volunteered before as well as those who have.

We know it can be exciting but also daunting and scary but the international students society is here to support you as you settle into student life and most importantly to help you make new friends on campus. We want to foster an environment where international students can build relationships and network with individuals from all around the world with the aim to create a mindset that promotes awareness, inclusivity, and acceptance of different cultures and opinions. From regular socials, weekend trips, language classes to cultural evenings, there are plenty for you to do.

We will be hosting small events and animal rights film nights as well as debates, cooking workshops and street activism. We have an open-door policy, anyone can join whether you are a Veggie or Not. The more diversity the more we can learn from each other.

We teach dance classes and work together to create dance routines with music suggestions from everyone. As people who used to dance, we wanted to create a club for people to give it a go and see where the competitions and performances take us.

Our society is all about expressing our culture and having fun, this includes all our festivals, events, shows and its all about pure vibes. This will include : Eid events, Holi, Food sales, Bollywood nights, Diwali events, Garba, cricket, football and so many more events which we can create together. We’re showing Ravensbourne how us South Asians do it!

A place for anyone who enjoys video games to come hang out (through both a Discord server and in-person events) - whether it’s to play games causally or competitively, discuss things like the programming, art, and music involved in games, and just generally, meet others with a common passion!

A society where all Kpop fans in Ravensbourne can come together as one and dance, sing and discuss anything related to kpop!

Our society is a social group aiming to bring people around Ravensbourne together who all share one interest. Our main activities include screenings, events, discussions and competitions.

Architecture is one of the most dynamic creative fields out there. In this society you can expect to learn more about our city and the world of architecture and interiors through site visits, talks and workshops that will benefit students from any course within Ravensbourne.

People will learn the fundamental and intermediate levels of boxing.

We play on Wednesdays from 3 -5pm at Poplar Baths Leisure Centre, £3 per person.

This society will be bringing Latino students together to represent our cultures through gatherings and hosting Latin events in the University. People who are interested in Latin culture can learn more and celebrate with us.

Music production and networking in all genres.

Students with any level of experience in crochet will come together and work on a variety of different crochet projects. There will be tutorials as well as working days where students will have time to work on personal projects or a group project.

A DJ society where students will be able to express themselves through music and DJing. It’s open to both experienced and inexperienced people who are into communicating through BPMs. Teaching sessions and mixtapes sessions will take place once a week/once every two weeks.
