Venue Accessibility

Lifts are marked inside the Ravensbourne University London building. There are four main lifts, two to service even-numbered floors, and two to service uneven-numbered floors. Once you pass through the entrance, the lifts are on both sides of the building. 

To reduce your carbon footprint and to ensure lifts are available for those who need them, please use the stairs. 

The nearest drop-off point to the building is the loading bay. There is also a suitable place adjacent to the building to transfer out of the car into a wheelchair. 

We have a limited number of parking spaces on-site for Blue Badge holders. If you're visiting Ravensbourne for an event, please book in advance by emailing opendays@rave.ac.uk . Please be aware you will be required to display your blue badge. 

Our main building is accessible via a wheelchair-accessible powered door and barriers at its main entrance. 

You can find wheelchair-accessible toilets on each floor. All toilets at Ravensbourne are gender-neutral to encourage gender diversity and inclusion.

Relaxed afternoon building tours 

Enjoy our building tours at Ravensbourne on Wednesday afternoons, where students are mostly at home, and the building is free from the liveliness of students circulating in the building. You can also visit our buildings online on our virtual tours.

Our main University building has quiet spaces for students, staff, and visitors. You can use this space for: 

• Prayer 
• Meditation
• Personal reflection 

Ravensbourne University is also equipped with its First Aid Room on the Ground Floor which can be used for health requirements as: 

• Rest (e.g. recovery from a seizure or rest during pregnancy)  
• Breastfeeding or expressing milk
• Taking medication 
• Other health reasons 

Guide and assistance dogs are welcome within our buildings. We will provide water for them if required. 

The general entrance of this building is via the external stairs to the first floor. 

If you require a lift to get to the first floor, another entrance via the ground floor can be used.
