The success of the music creation sector shows that at its heart, the British music industry continues to be about the creation and production of genre-defining music.

Employment within this area is on the rise, with music creators producing work for live audiences as well as for film, games, television and for the media and communication sectors.
Alongside a career as a musician, roles within the music-creation sector can span anything from composing for film and television to sound designer and from sound recordist to dubbing mixer.

The UK’s first radio station run by homeless people has been launched to give homeless people a sustained voice on the airwaves.
Organisers Accumulate also partnered with tutors from Ravensbourne University London to share their digital expertise while students helped with branding and visualisation.
