One Ravensbourne student will win the incredible opportunity to design a new brand identity for Aqua Libra, thanks to a competition launched by the university in collaboration with Britvic.

Ravensbourne sets itself apart from other universities with its unique ties with industry, providing students with real opportunities with real brands, even before graduation.

In our latest exclusive collaboration, coordinated by our in-house creative agency, Creative Lab, students have been tasked with designing a new master brand identity for Aqua Libra, a Britvic brand of infused sparkling waters.

Aqua Libra is undergoing a period of change, and is seeking a new identity to transform the brand. Students will enter the competition by creating a new logo and design to feature on the drinks’ packaging.

They must consider Aqua Libra’s brand pillars and how the branding might translate to the brand’s other product areas, such as their tap water dispensers and their hospitality and commercial arms.

The winner will embark on work experience with design agency Brand Opus and the Britvic and Aqua Libra marketing team to help develop their initial concepts into final designs for production.

They will also win a year of tuition fees, while the two runners up will win £500 each.

The competition is open to all students across all of Ravensbourne’s courses.

Derek Yates, Head of Creative Lab, said: “At Ravensbourne, we initiate and build proactive partnerships and a tangible connection to the creative economy. Through collaborations like this one, we aim to build our students resilience and create learning that is relevant beyond graduation.”
