Happy Pride Month 2024
The start of June signals the beginning of Pride Month and is a time to come together to show our support and solidarity with our LGBTQIA+ community.
Pride Month is an opportunity to elevate the voices of our own LGBTQIA+ community here at Ravensbourne to celebrate the invaluable contributions they make to life across the university.
Pride is of course a protest movement calling for equality for the LGBTQIA+ community, but it’s also a celebration.
If you want to get involved, we’ve listed below some of the incredible celebrations across the city, from the enormous Pride London event, attended by millions of people annually, through to smaller local events and events specifically for different sections of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Support available
We know that unfortunately people from the LGBTQIA+ community can face additional challenges including issues with family, discrimination, abuse and mental health problems.
If you have experienced any of these issues, the university can support you either via our Student Services team or for our staff by contacting the Ravensbourne Wellbeing Resources.
