Ravensbourne supports creative apprenticeships to diversify the creative industry
Ravensbourne University London will be working with The Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) and Creative Pioneers to provide training for the Level 3 Junior Creative Apprenticeship Standard. The apprenticeships will help to ensure that the creative industry is far more inclusive and diverse.
The apprenticeship programme will look to support young, fresh creatives and provide them with the necessary knowledge and confidence to work successfully within the creative industry, regardless of their backgrounds.
The apprenticeship, which is available to 25 individuals this year, covers a variety of topics within 14 modules. The course will provide the apprentices with the experience to work on real briefs and will be delivered mostly online over the course of 18 months. Available across England, the opportunity will be open for both creative and media agencies and can be offered to new starters or to upskill existing junior employees.
Ravensbourne is thrilled to play an important role in bringing much needed diversity to the creative industry. Our expert tutors who will be able to share years of industry knowledge with new students who may not have otherwise had the means to participate in such study.
