Mark Hudson MA, PGCE, FHEA
Biography
Originally trained as a historian, Mark moved on to study Graphic Design at Camberwell, and postgraduate Illustration at St Martins School of Art.
Committed to design pedagogy, Mark has taught on and led Graphic Design courses in and around London since 1995, including Barking College, Bucks New University, and University for the Creative Arts, Epsom, prior to joining Ravensbourne in 2022.
Working from London-based studios, Mark’s work consists of thoughtful visual imagery used in media, exhibition graphics, public art, and visual consultancy.
His work is part of the V&A Museum’s permanent collection, and past clients include BBC Worldwide, The Times, Design Museum, Historic Royal Palaces, Office of Tony Blair. See more: https://markhudson.info/
In addition, Marks’ wider areas of design interests range across the visual spectrum from printmaking to children's books via digital domains, artisan design and print ephemera, information graphics, visual systems and the history of visual culture.
Mark’s graphic ideology is collaborative, committed to building design communities, and does not accept constraints or boundaries to the situating of design as a practice.
