Gianna Osborne BA (Hons)
Biography
One of the Games course's first students, now a sessional lecturer inspiring other to embark on their own journey into the Game Industry by working as the games team's outreach, social and technical mentor with the aim to complete the PGCert qualification to further develop my skillset.
Being a previous student of the games course gives me a unique perspective, I'm able to be a supporting point of contact for both students and mentors on the game's development course. I help with Unreal engine technical teaching and advise on methodologies promoting further self-study, outreach & networking on design briefs.
My interests lie in the connectivity of Games and being involved in the surrounding community, as a result, I work on the 3rd year professional portfolio unit, run the Ravensbourne games Instagram, internal games evening and provide support for the forming Game society. My long term goal at Ravensbourne is to encourage more internal and external connections that will provide opportunities for both students and mentors.
