Francesco Tacchini MA

Francesco Tacchini is an artist and lecturer in BA (Hons) Graphic Design.

The main outlet of his work and research is dmstfctn - a London-based artist duo he cofounded in 2017, preoccupied with immersivity, explicability and narrative across film, performance and games. dmstfctn's work has focused on complex systems such as network infrastructure, financial markets, tax havens, and AI.

Under this outlet, Francesco has performed in venues such as Serpentine Galleries, Design Museum, Corsica Studios, Cafe OTO, Berghain (Berlin), Onassis (Athens), festivals such as transmediale, Unsound, Impakt and CTM, and exhibited or screened work in venues and festivals such as Somerset House, HKW, Fotomuseum Winterthur, Nieuwe Instituut, LUMA Arles, Aksioma, Porto Design Biennale and Istanbul Design Biennale. Francesco is an alumni of the Royal College of Art.
