Darren Stacey BA(Hons), DipArch, RIBA, MAUD
Biography
Darren Stacey is a sessional lecturer at Ravensbourne, where he leads in technology and construction with a focus on sustainability and the environment.
Darren has over 30 years of practice-based experience of architecture and urban design, specialising in housing and commercial architecture.
He studied architecture in London and Liverpool and also holds a master's degree in urban design from the University of Westminster. He now runs his own architectural practice in southeast London.
Darren's aim is to ensure that successive generations of architects and designers are able to combine their spatial and technological skills in equal measure. He aims to give them the knowledge to make a positive contribution to future employers and in their ongoing careers.
He encourages students to carry out learning and research through a programme of lectures, seminars, and workshops, where they explore their ideas through an open and continuous dialogue.
