Cecilia Mezzi BA, MA, FHEA

Cecilia Mezzi is a London-based educator and creative. Her professional path reflects her perspective on education as a medium in constant evolution, focusing on Storytelling and Creative Practices.

She curates lectures, seminars and workshops on the latest developments in Storytelling Studies, New Media, Data Humanism, Future Foresight, Speculative Design, Digital Identity Studies, and Creative Technologies.

She earned a BA in Modern Literature and Humanities and graduated with a distinction in MA (Applied Imagination in the Creative Industries) at Central Saint Martins, where she produced a thesis on Social Media Data and Creative Archiving.

Cecilia is a lecturer in Digital Media on the course BA (Hons) User-Experience and User-Interface Design at Ravensbourne University London, while also teaching at UAL, most specifically Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion.

She’s skilled in creating bespoke project briefs aimed at enhancing students’ creative and academic potential while implementing plans drawn up to amplify student engagement.

Cecilia trained in creative coding at the UAL Creative Computing Institute and is the founder of Digital Memoir, a project in which she’s applying a creative approach to social media data, translating them into sound and visuals by using AI.

Besides her academic collaborations, she’s an experienced journalist and creative practitioner focusing on the intersection of technology and narration applied in creative disciplines.
