The Valentine is located less than two minutes’ walk from the tube station in Gants Hill, getting you to Stratford in 12 minutes, and Ravensbourne within 30 minutes. **you will need to receive the full maintenance loan of £13,348 to be eligible for this room type. Proof will be required during the booking process to validate your eligibility.

To reserve your room for 2024/25 Academic Year, please email TheValentine@crm-students.com or call 020 4504 0575. Remember to state that you are a Ravensbourne student - CRM Students will endeavour to house Ravensbourne students together.

If your household income is £25,000 or under and you have applied for the maximum maintenance loan from Student Finance England, you will be eligible to reserve one of the affordable rooms. Please note: you will be required to provide evidence of your maintenance loan allocation from Student Finance England once approved to support your eligibility for one of these rooms.

If your household income is over £25,000 then you are still able to book a normal rate room at The Valentine. Further information can be found on their website .

Key dates:

January 2024	The booking reservation process is now open. Contact The Valentine directly to reserve your room.
End of May 2024	For those students who have booked at the £190 rate, CRM Students will contact you to request evidence of your maintenance loan allocation from Student Finance England to assess your eligibility for an affordable room. If you don't meet the requirements, you will be offered another room at the normal rate subject to availability.

Cancellation Policy:

If you choose to cancel your booking with CRM Students, you have 14 calendar days after receiving the original Accommodation Offer to do so to get a full refund of the Holding Deposit paid. If you have made your booking less than 14 days before your scheduled check-in date, you may cancel your booking until the earlier of (a) 14 days after receipt of the Accommodation Offer email and (b) the date you actually check-in. You may cancel your booking by sending an email to TheValentine@crm-students.com . CRM Students will refund your Holding Deposit within 7 calendar days of cancellation. If you cancel your booking after the 14 calendar day cool off period, you will not get your Holding Deposit returned to you.

What next:

Students should apply for their tuition fee and maintenance loans via the Student Finance England website. The application process will open at the end of February/ beginning of March 2024.
