Host families
What is a host family?
A host family invites a non-family member to stay for a period of time. It's a unique way to get an authentic taste of London with a friendly and welcoming family, and there are plenty of different hosts to suit you.
Host families are a good option for students who will be under 18-years-old on the first day of their course. However, please note that due to child protection measures, the majority of student accommodation providers will not accept bookings from under 18s.

- Hosts International - The aim of Hosts International is to fulfil the requirements of all clients and beyond and make students feel at home regardless of whether they are staying with a host family or in an independent house share. For more information.
- StudentStay - They have a wide selection of rooms in London zones 2-5 and all homes must meet British Council and UK standards.
- Homestay - This company has a wide selection of long or short stay rooms available in London with the additional benefits of WIFI and no additional bills.
