Titles for ‘The Take’, a series of BBC television firsts from the archives, featuring programmes and excerpts in a nightly programme to celebrate the launch of BBC Choice. The title sequence depicted a blue goldfish swimming in a digital quirkily coloured environment, passing through still life tableaux suggestive of different BBC programme genres, such as gardening, food, wildlife, pets and sport. The channel lasted five years before it was closed down, as part of a new reorganisation involving the independent launch of CBBC and CBeebies in 2002 and the launch of BBC Three in 2003.
